Key features

Unique air-evacuation layer

Tiny air-evacuation grains on the plate surface greatly shorten vacuum time during exposure and prevent image halation, giving clean, high-fidelity dot reproduction.

High-sensitivity photosensitive coating

Ronsein's photosensitive coating blends first-class photographic emulsion and resin for outstanding alkali resistance, superior stability, high sensitivity and flexible processing — ensuring unmatched resolving power.

Excellent hydrophilic layer

Strong water reception speeds up ink-water balance and reduces water uptake during printing, preventing scum on non-image areas and avoiding paper distortion.

Outstanding multi-grain layer

The multi-grain layer polishes the hydrophilic substances of non-image areas, improving ink-water adjustment and developing of fine dots, and strengthens dot adhesion to extend run length.

Durable anodic-oxidized layer

The durable oxidized surface formed by anodizing the aluminum base resists corrosion and retouching medium, markedly extending plate run length.

FAQ

What is a positive-working PS plate?

A positive PS (presensitized) plate is image-developed where light hits it: exposed areas are washed away during processing, so the plate reproduces the film positive. It is the traditional workhorse for offset prepress.

What presses and exposures are Ronsein PS-P plates compatible with?

PS-P plates work with standard UV or metal-halide exposure frames/platemakers and all common offset presses. They are a safe drop-in for shops still running analog film or direct-to-plate PS workflows.

What developer should I use with PS-P plates?

Use a standard PS plate developer (positive) at the dilution and temperature recommended in the product bulletin, typically 20–25°C. Ronsein can also supply matched chemistry.
